Furiously Working on Girls Wearing Black 2

I’m honored and a bit nervous at the volume of requests for an update on the sequel to Homecoming Masquerade. All I can tell you at this point is I am working on it every day and it’s coming together nicely. At the end of Masquerade I promised Winter 2012 for the next book. That was a conservative estimate. I wanted to make sure I didn’t make a promise I couldn’t keep. So long as the writing keeps progressing at the current pace, I think we’ll have it published sooner than that. I’m now aiming for late summer.

Thanks everyone for your interest, and I hope the sequel lives up to your expectations!

    I just finished book 1 and I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this story. I will definitely be posting a 5 star review on Amazon this evening! So excited about the next book!!!

The Author

For more than 15 years Spencer Baum wrote blistering pageturners with sci fi and horror elements.

His first novel was used as a textbook in a Harvard classroom and was optioned for a movie by Brand New Productions in Hollywood. His second novel was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist. His Girls Wearing Black novels have been fantasy and suspense bestsellers on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

Though he was able to make a living from his books during the early years of the digital publishing revolution, the changing nature of that marketplace meant that he had to rejoin the real world in 2019 following publication of his final novel, The Tetradome Run. He now works full-time and writes very little. This web site remains up for those who have recently discovered his books.

He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three children.
