Thanks to You, I’m a Full-Time Author!

I’m immensely grateful to all my readers and am proud to announce that, thanks to you, I am now a full-time author!

My former employer, Rio Grande Jewelry Supplies, was kind of enough to do an interview/nostalgia session on my last day at the company. Check it out here.

And thanks again for all your support! I’m now writing more in a day than I used to in a week, and think I will get Girls Wearing Black Book 2 finished and published soon.

The Author

For more than 15 years Spencer Baum wrote blistering pageturners with sci fi and horror elements.

His first novel was used as a textbook in a Harvard classroom and was optioned for a movie by Brand New Productions in Hollywood. His second novel was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist. His Girls Wearing Black novels have been fantasy and suspense bestsellers on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

Though he was able to make a living from his books during the early years of the digital publishing revolution, the changing nature of that marketplace meant that he had to rejoin the real world in 2019 following publication of his final novel, The Tetradome Run. He now works full-time and writes very little. This web site remains up for those who have recently discovered his books.

He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three children.
