Currently reading: Black Sunday by Thomas Harris (author of Silence of the Lambs).

Currently writing: Still slogging away on what I hope will be the final draft of GWB3.

Also working on….spending a chunk of each day audio editing to release Homecoming Masquerade and Festival of the Moon on audiobook. When finished, they will be available on audible.com, Amazon, and iTunes as mp3 downloads. Look for both titles in audio next month!

    I just finished “Festival of the Moon” I can’t wait till part 3 comes out. Do you have an update on when the book will come out yet?

    Hi Carmen!

    I’m on what I hope will be the final draft. Things are coming together nicely, but there’s still much work to be done on the middle. I’d still like to be out by the end of February, but it might not be until March.

    Please don’t feel the need to rush it! Your first two books were too good to be ruined by a rushed third one – myself, I’d rather wait longer.

The Author

For more than 15 years Spencer Baum wrote blistering pageturners with sci fi and horror elements.

His first novel was used as a textbook in a Harvard classroom and was optioned for a movie by Brand New Productions in Hollywood. His second novel was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist. His Girls Wearing Black novels have been fantasy and suspense bestsellers on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

Though he was able to make a living from his books during the early years of the digital publishing revolution, the changing nature of that marketplace meant that he had to rejoin the real world in 2019 following publication of his final novel, The Tetradome Run. He now works full-time and writes very little. This web site remains up for those who have recently discovered his books.

He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three children.
