GWB4 update. No new news.

Hi Friends,

I’m still in the weeds on Girls Wearing Black 4. No release date to quote yet. The middle of the novel isn’t working yet. Thanks for your patience. Please know that no one wants this book done and out there more than me, but not until it’s awesome!

    Ha! Betsy, I feel for the people in the northern US and Canada who have been buried all winter. The worst I can claim is some guilt that I have spent the whole season in sunny New Mexico while so many of my friends have had to trudge through the worst winter in memory. Good luck to everyone still shoveling snow!

    I wish there was something I could do to help. I fell in love with your first book and continue to love the rest of the series. I can’t wait to read the installment, but I’ll just reread the first three novels until you you get it just the way you want it.

The Author

For more than 15 years Spencer Baum wrote blistering pageturners with sci fi and horror elements.

His first novel was used as a textbook in a Harvard classroom and was optioned for a movie by Brand New Productions in Hollywood. His second novel was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist. His Girls Wearing Black novels have been fantasy and suspense bestsellers on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

Though he was able to make a living from his books during the early years of the digital publishing revolution, the changing nature of that marketplace meant that he had to rejoin the real world in 2019 following publication of his final novel, The Tetradome Run. He now works full-time and writes very little. This web site remains up for those who have recently discovered his books.

He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three children.
